SensorSimulator 1.0.0

I've created a zip archive with all SensorSimulator related source
code, libraries, and executables, which is now available for download
here:
http://code.google.com/p/openintents/downloads/list

Currently there is only one working sample, but as we update the other
samples, they should also move there.

Please let me know if it works, and let me know of any feedback or
suggestions for improvement. Major changes may still happen - it is
meant to be a beta :-)

Great work. It's not working on my emulator though. I've installed the
apk entered the ip from sensorsimulator go to test it and it freezes.
Ends up having to force close. Had a quick look around and noticed the
pacakage summary > providers > dbprovider.SensorSimulatorProvider
does nothing when I click it. I haven't set up an sd card. Would that
be the problem? Really new to the emulator.

SensorSimulatorSettings does not require an SD card.
Have you entered the correct IP address without the leading "/"?
The test freezes if no connection can be made. Have you tried the
other possible IP addresses?

What does logcat output say when it freezes?

Wow, thanks for the quick reply. I've got it working now. only 1 ip
was available. did a whole bunch of searching. Sensorsimulator said
couldn't listen on port 8010 so tried a different port. Voila, all
worked. It's always simple when you find the fix. Just thought I'd log
it in case any one else was this stupid. Would be nice if the settings
app pointed out the port was the problem though.

Now it's working I'm really impressed. Works like a charm. Great work.

Hi Peli,

I get the similar problem where when I try to connect it freezes and
have to Force stop every time. I tried with different port, There is
only one ip address in SensorSimulator.

According to Logcat - it freezes on connecting to <ip>:<port>
