POM in maven repository broken?

I keep on getting the following error when I try to use the openid4java module (when running mvn on my package):

 

[WARNING] POM for 'org.openid4java:openid4java:pom:0.9.2:compile' is invalid. It will be ignored for artifact resolution. Reason: Failed to validate POM

 

This doesn’t seem to affect anything but it’s annoying at best,  and may cause unknown problems at work.

 

Thing is, I don’t see anything wrong with the POM (at http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/pub/mirrors/maven2/org/openid4java/openid4java/0.9.2/openid4java-0.9.2.pom ) – anyone have a clue? It seems to validate against the XSD at http://maven.apache.org/maven-v4_0_0.xsd ...

Yes, maybe because the openxri dependencies are using the system scope in openid4java's pom.xml as I can't find the jars of openxri in the maven's central repository.
I've post a bug to openxri to let them upload the jars to maven's central repository.

Justen contributed a pom file for openxri a while ago. I'm working on getting openxri onto the maven repository. Will post an update here once that is complete.
