Is there any comparable progress in the Senate?

Soren,

The DATA Act was reintroduced just about the same time (and with very similar language) by Senators Warner and Portman, so it seems on track. Question is when it will get a hearing before HSGAC and whether there are any committee concerns.

ACMRA hopefully will be reintroduced soon. The problem was never with support from Senators, but whether S. Rules would hold a markup. AFAICT, markups are incredibly rare-- outside of the budget, they had 2 markups in the 112th. If they will have a markup, or give approval in some other way, it should sail through.

Congrats to you, and Hudson, and everyone that's been working on those bills.
