thanks for deleting it.

A couple of reminders (other updates follow):

This list is public, so posts here show up on web searches.
The default reply is to the whole group, so you'll have to edit the "to" field to send an offlist message.
New members' messages are moderated, which has proved to be a good way to avoid list spam, which was somewhat troublesome before I discovered that setting.

Other updates:

Some Executive Orders are now posted on whitehouse.gov.
CongressDaily has a review of the new transparency policies:

In a nod to his campaign promise to facilitate government transparency, President Obama issued a Freedom of Information Act memorandum as one of his first official orders Wednesday. In it, he instructed all members of his administration to operate under principles of openness, transparency and of engaging citizens.

It looks like one of my favorite White House pages, on IT policy, has survived the transition, though in revamped form.

There's also an under-construction page on the office of e-gov and IT.

Just came across the only page on the group site and found it was
nothing but porn spam, apparently posted by user 'vincentwolsey1723'.
Might want to kick that user out of the group.

Cheers
