VoterWatch Gearing Up for Beta Launch!

Hello everyone, I wanted to drop a line to ask you to sign up for the
VoterWatch Newsletter (you can do so by visiting www.voterwatch.org
and inputting your information in the appropriate section). We have a
variety of exciting announcements coming up. As many of you know, we
are working on the CommitteeWatch project (Congressional Evaluation
Project) with Sunlight (we're still looking for partners, so please
inquire for more information).

In addition to this exciting project, we are launching the
Presidential Debates Project. E-mail me at bi...@voterwatch.org to
find out how you can use our interactive media player to comment live
within the presidential debates! We have limited room for
participating journalists/non-profit partners. Dick Morris is only
one of the names who we currently have signed on to annotate the
debates.

On September 8, 2008, we will launch full beta mode, which means that
advocacy groups and non-profits will have the opportunity to use our
video player to present interactive commentary in Congressional and
political video. Plus, we'll have a newly refaced web site launching
at the same time!

In addition to these exciting mentions, we have forged a partnership
with C-SPAN that will assist us in better gaining access to their
footage via FTP. We are hoping that this opens the doors for C-SPAN's
wider dissemination and use of online video (more to come on that).
