Help wanted with HABDroid - Screen stays empty

i have a new mobile phohen an samsung s2 9100 with android 4.1.2

so i tried tu use habdroid for my first time ... i have configures urls and i can choose a sitemap (i have two of them) but after chossing a sitemap the screen stays empty

can somebody help ?

I have had a similar experience with habdroid for many months. I find that if I go into the settings menu and then exit out of settings, it connects properly and shows the content. Have you tried that?

It would be great to see this fixed!

I have experienced the same many times, but Victor always claimed that he cannot reproduce it.

Could you enter an issue about it and possibly have a reproducible case described in it?

i upgraded my samsungs s2 to kitkat same issue

Same problem here - when HabDroid was run recently, I need to go back to home screen and run it again in order for it to show any items.

Also, it does not seem to be updating well - for example, if I switch on a light, the bulb icon still looks switched off (same after waiting 20s). When I quickly go up hierarchy (for example, from kitchen back to main menu) and back, the light status is updated.

I am using Nexus 5 with 4.4.2

it's not running at all... demo is working, but if i coose one of my sitemaps screen stays black ist there anything for debug etc... ? to help to get rid of the issue ?

I have the same issue. I've enabled security and habdroid correctly tells me the servers needs correct credentials but when i configure those it connects and then the screen stays empty... no error, nothing.
My browser clearly shows me a list of items.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue on an HTC EVO running 4.0.3. Everything looks fine on the laptop browser, nothing on HabDroid, though it does saying it is connecting then that message disappears and no error message comes up. The demo mode runs fine.

I have also this problem, HTC phone with android 4.4.2. demo is working but my own set-up gives an empty screen. is there a solution for this? it would be nice it would be nice if this works.

I have the same problem -- most times when launching HabDroid, I get a blank screen.   If I go to the Android context menu (recent apps), and swipe HabDroid away and relaunch, it works OK.

I'm running KitKat 4.4.4 on a Moto X (2013 version)

Hi,  Has any progress been made on this problem?

 

For me everything I open habdroid I get a black screen, If I clear the cache I get my interface.
