Cloud Computing Use Cases Whitepaper V2 work has started.

The Cloud Computing Use Cases white paper has become a resource to
ensure consistency when attempting to understand the Cloud and is a
catalyst to the identification of the requirements to ensure an Open
Cloud Computing environment.

Version 1 of the whitepaper was completed at the end of July. After
reviewing the comments that were received throughout the development
of Version 1 of the paper and how Cloud Computing is evolving, three
areas of focus were identified:
1 - Continue to add more customer scenarios to highlight the
requirements of the consumers of the Cloud.

2 – Begin to address the requirements of developers by identifying
“application programming interfaces” (APIs) in order to maximize the
effectiveness of the development of applications or services utilizing
the Cloud.

3 – Continue to refine the taxonomy section to stay in step with the
evolution of Cloud Computing.
