Hi Tom,
last night you added the mentioned package. I'm not happy with this :-(.
This is because it's not just a driver for the "dvbsky" hardware but a
replacement for the whole v4l driver subtree ! It overlays (and possibly
even downlevels) drivers that are already part of the kernel.

Hello, since days, I search and can't find the answer, so I'm asking here if anybody has a clue how to solve this thing ... Hi,
rutorrent is a great web ui for rtorrent.
with this patch rutorrent builds by default as part of the rootfs.
the patch also adds linux perf tool as a module.

tvheadend patch for grabber(s?) + slow tuner

Hello here is attached a simple mod of systemd's unit for launching tvheadend I added the redirects for stdin and stdout to the arbitrary tty10 (9 is used by debug-shell.service). With that, the grabber "tv_grab_fr_kazer" finally works correctly (on my cubox). I also added another instruction : "ExecStartPre= -/bin/sleep 30"... more »

gstreamer issue?

Hi,
could it be that gstreamer is somehow broken on panda?
When trying to start a video on xbmc with dvdplayer everything is fine. With gstplayer xbmc gets unresponsive and nothing happens.
Running gst-launch by hand gives:

But I stuck at a configuration issue i do not know how to resolve.

cannot build tvheadend (3.4) (elfutils) : missing libintl

hello I had the bad idea to update my local hg clone. And now I cannot build anymore tvheadend (I could yesterday build 3.3). The build fails at building "elfutils", which fails at finding "-lintl" or libintl. I found out that the "gettext" package will build a libintl.so, but it will not install it anywhere (along maybe with other things required like maps... more »

Hi,
I noticed that we have this package in the repo. Did someone ever try it for ARM targets
? I might have a use for a - let's say RaspberryPi - that boots straight into a GUI app
written in Qt 4. It doesn't matter, if Qt would run on top of X or on the framebuffer
device directly.
