A wiki page on some basics

Hi,
i have added a wiki page[1] on some terms and information that i
considered are useful to be clarified when beginning with working on
embedded systems. i have put in some information from my limited
knowledge and mostly from what can be found scattered on the internet.
Please help improve the page.

PS: Can the website administrators add the cite extension for
mediawiki. I wouldn't like to submit data without crediting proper
sources ;-)
