Adding or removing statements from Command Line Interface

Hi Anzo group,
Is there a way to add, deleate or update a specific statement for a
NamedGraph directlty from command line interface?
Is the upadate command the only way to do that? If this is the case,
this means I always need an RDF with addittions or removals
statements?
