Site hacked once more
|
| |
As a result of the site being hacked, I've locked down security,
including banishment of content publishing access rights for all but
two individuals.
Please advise if you come across errant or nasty links.
Thanks,

Cookie joins LibLime
|
| |
Our very own Cookie Wolfrom, formerly of Delta County Public Library
District, has joined the ranks of LibLime. Congratulations to her, and
continued best wishes! I believe we will see her infuse the open-
source ILS vendor space with common sense and bar-setting public-
service skills.

Apologies that I didn't see the recent spam messages posted to this

Feedback trickling in...
|
| |
Task force members:
I have received a few direct e-mail messages with comments and

Newly released: paper about statewide ILS based on open-source for Colorado
|
| |

First DRAFT of whitepaper
|

Group readers and casual lurkers...
A first draft of the whitepaper has been distributed to core task
force members for review, editing, feedback, etc.
As a reminder of our publicly-stated process:
After the task force has chewed on the paper for several days, and
things have been revised, the whitepaper will be posted publicly here... more »

Wrapping up the first draft of our report (really, I am!)...
I found another item WELL WORTH reading from the Indiana folks. This
is associated with the Evergreen Indiana initiative, coordinated by
the state library there.

Update on CO news related to ILS
|
| |
A couple of quick news items of note--
First, some may be wondering, "Where is that report we've been
promised?" Well, it's being worked on. Rather than have it written by
committee, I've taken the bull by the horns and have started on the
early draft. This draft will then be circulated to the Task Force.... more »

Comments during a local Indiana library district Board meeting in response to their state wide Open ILS initiative: "On another matter, the board shared Baugher's lack of enthusiasm for optional participation in a new Indiana State Library initiative aimed at having all Hoosier public libraries use the same automation... more »
