Folks, an item that's caused some troubles for a few of you stems from
the fact taht our patch set zips include files whose home are the
several Tickets directories.

If you're using any reasonable un-zipper (e.g., Winzip) , then these
will assign the unzipped files correctly - if you've told it to 'use
folder names' for the extract process.

Things get more complex when you need to ftp the zip's contents to
your server. Here, you'll want to unzip to yr local directory
structure, then ftp the new contents. Not hugely complex, but too
easily fouled up - with some truly ugly results if it ain't right.

Just to add to this, the way I do it is to unzip all the files into a
folder on my hard drive that I call the same name as the folder on the
server that contains the current tickets version (say /public_html/
tickets). For that instance I unzip the patch set onto the hard drive
and put the contents of the patch_XX_XX folder into the "tickets"
folder. i can then upload the entire tickets directory onto the server
with ftp and overwrite older versions of the files (that being said I
always take a backup of the existing install onto my PC and call it
say "tickets_2_10_G".
