Folks, Tickets version 12 B is now available at SourceForge.  It's file tickets_01_31.zip, download at
   https://sourceforge.net/projects/openises/

In addition to lots of internal tweaks and corrections, it includes the major items noted below.  As before, the zip provides for an upgrade to an existing installation, as well as a new install.  The sounds files are a separate download from SourceForge.

You'll have questions, complaints, and suggestions; Andy and I look forward to them - really (:-/]) - so no need to hold back.

Changes for Tickets V 2.12 B

1.  The situation screen has been given a significant re-do, with much flexibility added to hide/show the several tables and classes of incidents, units, and facilities. A setting for "group_or_dispatch" allows the use of standard "Available" and "Unavailable" show and hide.

2.  We've added the capability to maintain your own table of codes/signals, which may quickly be inserted into several of the information fields used working an incident.  Use the 'Signals' link on the Config page on this.  You'll have the ability in the New and Edit forms and others.

3.  If you prefer that all outgoing mail go as blind copies:  On Config/Edit settings, append /B to the 'email from' setting;  e.g., 'yrn...@gmail.com/B'.   In addition, mail operations now allow using GMail smtp account.  N.B., outgoing mail requires valid email addresses for both 'email from' and 'email reply to'  settings.

4.  You may now dispatch units by capability. On the dispatch menu, entered terms are used to identify units with matching capabilities for dispatching, with 'any' and 'all' options for term matching.

5.  We've added automatic incident numbering, a widely-requested capability which supports several numbering styles, including a fixed string (useful in identifying events) and the current year. Set it on Config/Incident Numbers.

Folks, it appears that the upload to SourceForge has gotten corrupted on its way.  I know that SF was hacked several days ago, and they've also gone to a new upload mechanism.  So, ... .

Bear with us on this while we develop plan B.

Trip, thanks for the offer, but we were in the process of getting the new site up.
