The Transportation Research Board (TRB), part of the National Academies of Science, Public Involvement in Transportation Committee is calling for  papers and posters for presentation or publication on the topics listed below.

Presentations will take place at the TRB 91st Annual Meeting, which will take place in Washington, DC, on January 22-26, 2012.  The meeting attracts 11,000 transportation professionals from around the world with more than 4,000 presentations in nearly 650 sessions and workshops covering all transportation modes and addressing topics of interest to all attendees—policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions.

Papers are due by August 1, 2011, and authors informed of selections in October.  About half of the papers or poster proposals are selected for presentation, and less than one fourth of papers submitted for publication in the peer reviewed Transportation Research Record are selected.
