Hello all,

While the government is arranging to issue its letter of Intent to join OGP and put in place a coordinator, we agreed at our last ad hoc civil society group session that it would be a productive use of this quiet time for us to turn our attention to corporate governance of the Civil Society Network. These are important issues including for example the question of devising a draft terms of reference and protocols for the network, its steering committee and working groups. It would be important that we hit the ground running with a set of thought-out proposals that we can bring to wider civil society for discussion as soon as a coordinator is in place.

It would be really great to have as much experience in the room for this next session as possible. Thus far, five people have filled in the doodle poll. We’d really like to nail the date for this meeting before the end of this week so please check your work diaries to see whether you are available to join us. Here is the doodle poll:

If you can’t make the meeting but have any thoughts or examples to share with the group, please let us know. Likewise, if you wish to extend the invitation to any other civil society groups please feel free to do so.

Best,

Nuala
