Don't mind 'open', there is not a single word of 'data' in Min Reilly's
manifesto. Perhaps we should provide Min Reilly with an opportunity to
explain himself (but all speaking slots for 23d are taken:))

I was investigating ways to ingest and make searchable the minutes of
town/county council minutes however there is no standard format for how
these are stored and presented. Has anyone else been looking into this, is
there any preferred format or international standard that could be
suggested as a way to encourage councils to produce easily machine readable

I'm looking at creating an open source application to demonstrate the
capabilities of Ember.js (a new JavaScript framework) and I'm looking for
real time data to build the application around.
Ideally I'd like to use something local to me here in Dublin, for example
transport data or similar but I'm finding it very hard to find information
