We follow the Apache Model, which is as follows.

1. Capture requests for  new features and  changes
   
2. Set specific goals for release
3. Once the goals are met a candidate is release
4. Release candidate is send to select (tested) users
5. After getting result for users testing then a vote is take on developers for release.  +1 = release -1 = don't release and 0 = abstain
   
6. The votes are tallied. 0 or 1 means release.
