Hello,

What is the upper limit on the number of triples the MySQL-backed
Ontowiki can support? Is 62k triples too much? I'm getting 500
internal server errors and thinking this is the problem. I'm working
on a shared hosting environment (unfortunately) and MySQL is the only
option (for the short term).

I'm currently running an instance with over 150k triples. But there
are problems. Some of my classes - with ~5000 instances - I can browse
fine. Others with only a couple thousand instances send OntoWiki into
an endless loop; MySQL churns away and never comes back. I'm tempted
to take up the task of writing a bridge to a "real" triple store like
AllegroGraph and see what kind of performance that gives, but I
haven't looked at it closely enough to see how big a project that
would be.

i'd say the Virtuoso is a "real" triple store but that's just MHO ;-)

i just don't have the Virtuoso option on my shared host :/

OW uses Virtuoso's ODBC interface which is a bit particular to
Virtuoso i think actually. Not sure porting to another store would be
easy...
