Hi,

as I tried to add a new knowledge base to my OntoWiki I got the
following error:

"Zend_Db_Statement_Mysqli_Exception: Mysqli prepare error: Illegal mix
of collations (ascii_bin,IMPLICIT) and (latin1_swedish_ci,COERCIBLE)
for operation '='
C:\Uli\ontowiki\libraries\Erfurt\libraries\Zend\Db\Statement
\Mysqli.php@84 (0)"

The problem is: I tried it with two versions: the current version 3456
(linux) and an older version (I guess 3355 - windows). With that older
version I already managed to add new knowledge bases. I don't know, if
the failure lays in the owl-file, but it's the same owl-file like 1
week before, I just added some new individuals and a new class.

After the error message occurs, it's not possible to go back to the
ontowiki, I have to restart the browser access it again. The knowledge
base, I tried to create, was there but when I tried to select it or to
delete it, the same error message occured.

Can anybody help me with this?

Thanks,
Uli

Hi uli3480 :)

please delete all tables in your database and restart ontowiki again.
maybe your db schema is too old.

if the error still apears - please send me your owl file as a private
mail for debugging.

regards
