Does Name Types Tab in Ontopoly specify a variant name for a topic?

Hello,

As the name of this post promts i'd like to ask:
If I add a topic 'NickName" in "Name Types" tab in Ontopoly and
assign this nickname for example to an individual artist of a musical
group. Does this nickname become a variant name for the chosen artist?
I've noticed that in LTM this looks like so:

[id131 : id90 = "Bruce Springsteen"
= "bruclle"
@"http://psi.ontopia.net/brucas"]

Here "brucle" is nickname "Name Type" topic. It does not have scope...
So is it a variant name of Bruce Springsteen or what?

Yes, as the tab indicates.

This is a typeless second name, because LTM does not support name types. You'll have to use another output format to export the nametypes.
