Attempt to start up PFS in Toronto Are

I'm posting this to see what level (if any) of interest there is in restarting in person PFS gaming in the Toronto area.

For those who don't know, PFS is the organized play society for Pathfinder and Starfinder roleplaying games. You show up when you can (no pressure) and your character(s) gain levels and can be played at any PFS games

I'll start with a survey to gauge interest.

Note that I do NOT have any arrangements yet made with any potential venues. This is just to see if there is sufficient interest for me to bother continuing to investigate.

Hi Paul - I've filled in your survey and shared with a friend. We're up in Markham but eager to see PFS return to the GTA. In the survey I said no to GMing - although in a pinch it's possible. I'm running 3 campaigns right now (Blood Lords, Edgewatch and a 1e mashup of Shattered Star/Rise/Return of the Runelords) and PFS is the place where I actually get to play! I know one of our local stores up here would like to try hosting some PFS but that all comes down to having GMs.

Just an update.

Got 9 responses so far which isn't great but also isn't at all bad.

Haven't looked at them in detail yet but at a glance it certainly seems like starting up PFS play again is at least a possibility (I have no clue if once we start others will join OR if people will not  bother actually showing up :-)).

I'll look at the results and chat with some potential venues hopefully this week.

With any luck we'll be able to schedule a first meeting for sometime late October or early November.

Consider Face-to-Face games on the Danforth. They seem to be expanding in store play opportunities.

The game store in Markham that is interested in PFS is Three Kingdom Games. They also have a location near Yonge and Eg - and the same owners. So perhaps that's an option as well

I've played all but 2 of released society scenarios, so I think I'd rather run something, if there's a chance. Back to in-person game is certainly nice, I always prefer that than online.
