I'm glad someone followed what I was saying. Then again, not to
be 'picky', but all the amusing responses that showed that they didn't
know what I was saying said '.com .edu, .gov or .us' in their
addresses <grin>.
As a tool, a Gun's purpose is to kill something, which was my point.
I cannot 'collect nuclear missiles', so I don't see the validity of
collecting guns. As far as hunting for 'sport' is concerned, I'm
obviously not in favour of that (Yes, I do eat Chicken and fish, so
I'm not saying that no animals die to feed myself.)
Do I believe that police officers should have Guns? Sure. Do I believe
that professional 'food preparers' should have guns (Not that they need
them)? Sure. Do I believe that an average joe walking down the
street should casually treat a gun just like they treat a hammer or
any other 'tool' that can have multiple purposes? Definetely not.
It may be more of the attitude that is created when guns become such
common place items that I disagree with.
(BTW: Before you start to spew your 'the government should not step
in and take away my right to do whatever the hell I please' (A standard
U.S. comment), please consider the FACT that absolute rights do not
exist, and one persons rights always take away from someone else's rights)

Agree'd.
