Didn't pause our campaign before it started

Our team didn't have our campaign paused and our campaign won't start
for a week but $5.90 has already been spent. What can we do, can we
still participate in the competition?

Where do we submit our pre-campaign report?

Hi, we have the same problem. But we have already spent about 30% of
our budget with the keywords I entered when setting up the adwords-
account.
These keywords where choosen quite randomly and inefficient. The
campain started automaticly when the 200$ where loaded on our account.

Further more, we haven't submited our pre report yet. And one
constrain was to first submit the pre report and then start the
campain.

So: Is there an option to reset our account?
If so, how can we do it?

Hey Johannes,

Good that you've learned that some of your keywords were inefficient.
But to reset your account would disadvantage teams that have only
$200.and read the instructions.
The Guide to Setting up Your AdWords Account (p. 4) notes 'pausing'
the campaign..

yes, the registration was quite intuitive... But I still think this
shouldn't be a point to fail and the target should be a good strategy
for placing ads.
