I have been trying to config the combined-webapp of OneBusAway,
especially to try the phone interface(IVR). I have already done the
troubleshooting guide and everything seems to be alright with my
transit data bundle. What happens is that the webapp has the same
behaviour of the quick-star webapp, and i can't understand how to
config the phone interface. Can you give me any idea how to do this?

Thanks,
João Frazão

Hey João,

You've unfortunately picked the most poorly documented and tricky to
configure aspect of OneBusAway to try out. I'm happy to do what I can
to be beef up the documentation, but I have to be honest that this is
not going to be plug-and-play. OneBusAway currently doesn't play
nicely with out-of-the-box IVR providers like Twilio, but instead uses
Asterisk directly. This is mostly a function of the fact that I could
get free IVR hosting in Seattle if I was willing to run my own
Asterisk instance. I'm just curious what your tech comfort level is
before I start documenting this.

Hi Brian,
In fact, my experience on Asterisk technologies are almost nothing. I
just know what it is. I spoke with the manager of the project, and he
said that we, for now, will left this on stand-by, moving on try other
plataforms, like Android. However, probably we will try this in a near
future, so what do you think we should do? You send me the
documentation you have so I can start giving a look, or when the time
comes we talk again?

Thanks,
João
