Hi OBA developers,
The multi-region architecture design has really come together lately, and thanks to Paul, Scott, and Alan, we now have the server-side portion of the multi-region implemented, including a new OBA Regions REST API.

Documentation for new OBA Regions REST API, as well as the multi-region design and implementation, is available on a new Github "Multi-Region" page:
https://github.com/OneBusAway/onebusaway/wiki/Multi-Region

The remaining tasks are to modify the existing mobile apps to function as "multi-region" instead of working only with Puget Sound.  The above page has links at the top to the individual tickets for the iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone mobile apps that are tracking multi-region implementation progress for each app.  Windows 8 is currently TBD.

If you're a mobile developer and would like to help with the multi-regions implementation for the various apps, please let us know by replying to this post.  It appears iPhone and Windows Phone developers are the greatest needs at this point.

This is a tiny nit, but I'm thinking that in the App Developer Contact Info section the URL should be

rather than

I think of the former as being the canonical URL for the project and the latter as being an alias for it, provided just for folks that think there needs to be a "www." at the start of a hostname in a URL. Brian chose to use a ServerAlias directive to implement http://www.onebusaway.org/ but I'd have used a RedirectPermanent if I'd been the one to code that virtual host, just to send the unambiguous message that http://onebusaway.org/ is canonical.

The trailing slash I added saves a redirect, which is pretty unimportant but better in a tiny way.

Thanks Scott, I changed the wiki to reflect the URL you list below - http://onebusaway.org/.
