Mixing C and C++ in Omnetpp-IDE

Hi Omnet++-Fans!

I'am working on an integration of a communication stack which is
completly written in C. And i have some problems with that work.

Did perhaps anybody of you did such a work?

At the moment my main problem is the code integration in the IDE. I have
no problems with including C header files. But i struggle with C source
files.

Somehow they aren't compiled and linked. When I take the old precompiled
object files, linking works.
