i want to use the current version of inetmanet from https://github.com/inetmanet/inetmanet
with the new OMNet++ release 4.2. When building inetmanet it crashes
at about 50% progress with the folling error:
C:\omnetpp-4.2\msys\bin\make.exe: *** couldn't commit memory for
cygwin heap, Win32 error 0
make: *** [all] Error 1
I'm using Win7 64bit.
Can anybody tell me whats wrong?
Another question: What's the difference between inetmanet from
https://github.com/inetmanet/inetmanet and https://github.com/aarizaq/inetmanet-2.0
?
Many thanks,
Konstantin

Have you checked that the compilation has finished successfully?

Yes....the latest version 4.2
you need to refer to the directory of RSVPPacket.msg using MINGW32 and
write this command :
$ opp_msgc RSVPPacket.msg
it will solve this problem .
after that you have to rebuild the project ...
you can get inetmanet-2.0 from : git://github.com/aarizaq/inetmanet-2.0.git ..
use http as a protocol ....
i used it and succeed to build it , the RSVPPacket.msg still exist but
you can solve it by the latest command I had referred to .
I'm using Omnet++4.2 under Win7 64-bit...
Don't forget to install WinPcaP first again ...
listen , do as follows :
1 : extract the zipped omnetpp file (which you downloaded from
omnetpp.org) directly into your C drive and build the simulator as
usual .
2 : bring inetmanet-2.0 as naveen and i said before and build it , the
RSVPPacket.msg problem still exist but you can solve it as follows :
- from mingw32 cd into "git"
- then cd into "inetmanet-2.0"
- then cd into "src"
- then cd into "networklayer"
- then cd into "rsvp_te"
- then write this command : opp_msgc RSVPPacket.msg
3: rebuild the project without cleaning it ....
that's what i did and worked for me >>
it's more than 1 GB !!!!!!!!listen , do as follows :
