throughput of TCP

Hello all 

I want to compute the throughput of TCP application ? so I  used  ThruputMeter
 ? First I am confused where I can put the  ThruputMeter 
Initially , I put it between the tcp->  network layer 
in the MobileManetRoutingHost as the following picture shows 
So did this will compute to me the throughput of Tcp application ?! Fix me if i am wrong
