[Omnetpp-l] Veins, Sumo

Hi,

I want to make a just one line road like highway, but I couldnt make it with sumo.
Is there any body for helping me?

Hi Angela,

You have to create your own net.edg.xml and net.nod.xml, and then use
netconvert application to create the final "net.net.xml" file wich you
can use in sumo.

I did it and the I need routes.rou.xml and sumo.sumo.cfg. I try to make it with MOVE but it doesnt work. Do you know how can I make them to work?

Hi Luca,

Thanks for your guide, I try it several times but it doesnt work, I've got this error:
during network initialization: Model error: Could not read 4 bytes from TraCI server, got only 0: Unknown error.

Would you please help me.

Did your scenario work with SUMO?

If your scenario files use different file names, did you change those in
all(!) config files?

Please include as much information as you can in your email. This will
most likely include what steps you already took to try and remedy the
problem, which approaches worked and to what extent. Feel free to link
to screen shots or movies, but please do not attach them to your mail.

Dear Christoph,

Thanks for your kind reply, I made a nod.xml and edge.xml with MOVE, and with netconvert making the net.xml. I also made my rou.xml and sumo.cfg with MOVE.
But when I run it with sumo I cannt see any cars only the road is availabe, and I cannt make a traffic model on it.
I did all the steps exactly like the tutorial, but it doesnt work.

I have also changed the name in sumo-launchd.launch.xml, but it doest work.
