hi all

i want to install castalia but i get problems with makemake however i installed omnetpp3

please help

if you follow the installation procedure as mentioned in the intallation manual,  it should work. Make sure that you have right location of Castalia in your disk:

Go to the Castalia/config directory and edit the Castalia.config file so that
the line
ROOT=$(HOME)/YOUR_PATH_TO_CASTALIA/
contains the right location of Castalia on your local disk .
Make sure you include a “/” character at the end of the path.
For example, ROOT=$(HOME)/abc/Castalia-2.3b/              (make sure it is Castalia-2.3b...not just Castalia)

hi Muhammad,
i tried again to install castalia but i get this error message

./makemake: line 17: opp_makemake : commande introuvable
opp_makemake -f -N -b /home/belhadj/Castalia-2.3b -c /home/belhadj/Castalia-2.3b/config/Castalia.config -I. -u Cmdenv -n -r -i /home/belhadj/Castalia-2.3b/config/makefrag -X config -X Simulations -X Tests
make: opp_makemake : commande introuvable
make: *** [WSNetwork] Erreur 127

Regenerating nedfiles.lst...
Done
 you will find castalia.config and makemake.config attached here to help me

Hi Samia,

In your attached Castalia.config file, kindly check the following:

ROOT=$home/belhadj/Castalia-2.3b/
CONFIGDIR = $home/belhadj/Catalia-3.3b/config ( I think it should not be Catalia-3.3b rather it should be Castalia-2.3b)

Check the directories name again. If it still does not work, try:

CONFIGDIR = $(ROOT)/config

hi all omnet users
please hel me i tried to install castalia on ubutn i have installed omnetpp3.3b1 sucsusfully but castalia installation is failed
this is the erro message wich i get please help

but me i don't have omnetpp in my config folder shoud i add it or it will be generated after the makemake
