currently i am implementing wireless sensor network in omnetpp without
any packages.

i have planned that the sensor concept is implemented such that the
range for the simple node
is set to some value. the i planned to generate small circle randomly.
that circle should move
around the screen.
when that circle come within the range of the simple module then the
simple module need to detect that.

how can i implement the above mentioned concept.

if anybody know about the concept please help me.
if you have any idea inform me we can click together.

Why implement it from scratch? There is INET or MiXIM which do the task for
you :-)

If you want to do it yourself look at the (quite complex!!!!) tasks of
ConnectionManger (MiXiM) or ChannelCOntrrol (INET)

I'm extending ChannelControl to do something alogn this way, if you
want same info about ChannelControl initialization and connection with
moving hosts take a look at this post

You must consider a datalink model for communication range,
in addition, each node must have a coordination variable that
specifies its position.
each node can calculate its distance to other nodes, and if it was
within the communication range, it is considered as a neighbor.
you must also consider link unreliability for long communication
ranges, based on the datalink model.
for datakink model use this paper:
Analyzing the Transitional Region in Low Power Wireless Links

moving nodes can be performed by changing coordination variables and
neighbor discovery

So you believe that 120 years of research in wireless transmission is worth
nothing and a simple circle model is superior and more accurate?

Intriguing!

Have fun, Andreas
