Subject: Omeka 1.5.2

Hi everyone,
I have just upgraded a development version or Omeka from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 following the steps at http://omeka.org/codex/Upgrading.
Everything works, only I was never sent to a upgrade page like step 7 of the documentation suggests and I also noticed that in the database the 'db_omeka_options' table still has Omeka as 1.5.1.
The Simple Pages plugin did ask me to upgrade it and it is shown as 1.3 under the 'db_omeka_plugins' table.
Again, everything works but before I apply the upgrade to the live site I wanted to make sure this is the way it is supposed to be.
Thank you.
Marco

Yeah, that version number stored in the database is just the last version when Omeka had to upgrade its database, not necessarily the current version of Omeka.

It's fine, and expected, that the number often won't change when you upgrade Omeka. The same applies for the upgrade page mentioned in Step 7 on the Upgrading codex page. You'll only be prompted to go to that upgrade page when Omeka needs to upgrade the database, which often isn't the case for these smaller updates.

I thought I'd already changed that Upgrading codex page to be clearer on this point, but that's obviously not the case.
