Hi All,

We've started a project here at UVA that requires us to use items that
reside in our Fedora repository alongside some faculty generated
content. Since Omeka get's us pretty far down the line, we adopted it
for several forthcoming projects. If you'd like to play with the
facade for a Fedora repo, take a look at https://addons.omeka.org/svn/plugins/FedoraConnector/trunk/.

Feedback is very welcome!

Wayne,

Many thanks for your work and for sending this along. This is
something that several other institutions have requested, so I think
you'll get a positive response from the community. Please let us know
when your faculty projects are up and running.

Take care,
Tom Scheinfeldt

Wayne,

This sounds great...will be giving it a whirl!

We have a small Fedora repo here at University of Mary Washington,
mostly with historical images from our centennial last year. A
professor I often work with, Jeff McClurken, has some ideas for using
them to gather up some more info about them, and so I'll be giving
this plugin a whirl in the next day or so. Am very much looking
forward to it, and I'll let you know how it goes, and since we're
reasonably close to each other geographically (I working in
Fredericksburg, and live in Richmond) I'm interested in meeting up to
talk about ideas for how we and the faculty are all using it.

Many thanks!
Patrick
