Hi all,

In case any of you did not know, SourceForge is transitioning its
service to new servers (from California to Chicago). In the process,
all SourceForge projects will become unavailable for some period of
time in these next weeks.

Thus, the OmegaT+ project page (http://sourceforge.net/projects/
omegatplus) is currently not available, although the project's
website (http://omegatplus.sourceforge.net) is still online for now.

In other news, OmegaT+ 1.0.M2 is coming along. Quite a few last minute
fixes have been put in before release. The expected time of release
could be any day now, in spite of the SourceForge issue. OmegaT+ has
other places to distribute the program from and if anybody really
wants to test it out I can send them a package directly. It's working
alright from the numbers of tests I have done.

Besides that, there is an OmegaT+ development blog now at
http://omegatplus-devel.blogspot.com. It's really about programming
issues that come up in the process of improving OmegaT+ beyond its
legacy base. So probably not of that much use to those who want to
just do translation with OmegaT+. Nonetheless, it is there to just
keep an open record of the tasks that are being tackled to create a
better, more robust and reliable application.

There are more changes on the road to version 1.0. Lots of work and
changes. Stay tuned and please consider helping with localizations and
other issues if you feel the urge. Thanks.

Cheers,

Raymond Martin (OmegaT+ project manager)
