This week is our regular Tuesday meeting. Our presentation will be given by one of our newest members, Ivy, who will be demonstrating some of the amazing work she does with polymer clay. This proves to be appealing to the artists and the jewelers among us, as well as anyone interested in manufacturing, as the process by which Ivy transforms seemingly unrelated pieces of clay into works of art is borderline magical. You won't want to miss it! Doors open at 6p and meeting starts at 7p.
The consensus among the members at The Makery the past Saturday was that there is a fine line between "supplies" and "junk", and, unfortunately, we seem to be leaning towards the junk side at the moment. So this coming Saturday will be a very-much-needed purge and clean day. It's time to get rid if the clutter and get organized. It will also be a really good time to claim those half-baked projects you have stuffed into a corner or those extra boxes of stuff that your storing in the space. Be there on Saturday around 10 to pitch in. If you aren't there, the fate of your stuff will be left to another member.
And speaking of members, a quick review tells me that we're about 3/4 of the way to our "$200 in 2 months" goal! Super! As of this weekend, with one month to go, we have increased our monthly dues by $145. Awesome! All we need is a couple more folks, and Kevin and I will be treating everyone to pizza at the December 11th meeting. If one person signed up as a key holder and another moved up from basic to key holder, we'll all be chomping on some pizza. So dig into those PayPal wallets, or get the word out to your friends, and lets make this happen!

Will this Saturday also entail taking things apart and sorting the components? I've suddenly got the urge to destroy (figure out) some of the crap around the house that doesn't work.
