Gang,

This is low priority, but if anyone has an old Apple keyboard (usb) I would
appreciate it.  Also, if you're in possession of a Mac OS, bonus.  I'm
attempting to bring an old iMac to life for nefarious purposes.

I have a keyboard for an original bondi blue iMac, which I would be willing to loan, but I want to hang on to it.

Just so no one is confused, the "meeting" Travis refers to is Off-week
Wednesday.

While we're discussing meetings, though, we are still seeking a
presentation for November 27th.

Looks like this is a
 iMac 17"/2.0GHz/1GB/160GB/SuperDrive/BT/AP

Most results say it came out around 2006.

I have also replaced the hard drive in an all in one, and overcome the bad
DVD interface hardware on the system board.  If you have problems, just
yell.

One of the great things about OSX is that it can be installed via almost
ANY storage device including USB attached drives and thumb drives.

According to MacTracker it can support up to OS X 10.7 but you will need to
max out that RAM to 3GB of DDR2 667 SO-DIMM or PC2-5300 two slots one 1GB
and one 2GB. I'll put the 10.7 on a file share some place and send you the
link.

You don't need a mac keyboard a windows one will work. You just need to map
it after the system boots up.
