The welder ran out of wire the other day, we'll need to buy some more.

Looks like it's about $20 at Harbor Freight without a coupon.

Since I used a lot on Tuesday, I was going to pick some up.

I would suggest avoiding the Harbor Freight flux core wire.  I upgraded from the HF brand to a roll of Hobart on a Harbor Freight $90 welder, and the results were like a whole new welder.  Northern Tool sells some brand names that will be a bit more expensive, and much easier to work.

Crap. I bought some harbor freight wire this afternoon. No worries - I'll just take it back. Thanks for the information.

We can try it if you want, different welders act differently. It may be fine.

I have a 2lb (?) roll of flux core .030" to give you guys if that will fit (or if you just want some wire). I'm not using it. it says Alloy E71T-GS AWS A5.20.
What or when would be a good time to deliver it? I'm at PKI 4 days a week. And live close enough I could just come down to the Makery.
Well, I suppose I could just watch the cameras and spy when somebody is around?

It seems like that wire would be perfect; The bi-weekly Meeting is tomorrow evening; There'll be people at the Makery starting around 6pm (or a bit earlier).

For those who haven't heard, the topic for tomorrow's presentation is Making Balloon Animals (and other things), given by Stephanie's husband Tom. He'll be showing off some of the crazy things he knows how to make, and I understand that he will be available after the demo to let people try it out, if they like.

See everyone tomorrow!
