There has been a bit of an outcry about not being able to post or discuss
national news.  We are in (CLICHE ALERT) one of the most important elections
of many of our lifetimes.  I for one would like to hear what people locally
are thinking.  Thusly, I have a proposal.  Every week we have an "anything
goes" open thread where people can post and discuss national or world news.

What do we think?
