Question 5 and question 6 where already answered during our meeting on
Sunday at Bryan's when we talked about why Nepal?
Question 7 and 8 will definitely lead to the proposal and workplan
without which we can't define exactly what we need as support! Their
expectation, well most of it will derive from a mutual aggreement of
the final workplan agreed by both parties.

I am sorry I haven't been able to join in the
discussion, but I have been a caught up with my
personal+office work quite a bit recently. I won't be
able to come today.
I was talking to a friend (Roshendra Khadka) in
Helpnepal network, who are interested in piloting
computers in rural schools, and I thought that in the
future, it might be good if we can pilot the laptop
software on their setups. Their most recent
development in this area is that some students from
Pulchok are interested in setting up Linux Terminal
Server Project (ltsp) in a school that they will be
providing computers to. These students plan to use
Fedora core, but might use Nepalinux as well. Nothing
has been finalized yet, but I might be attending a
meeting with them next week to find out more.
If you think inviting Roshendra to one of our meetings
will be helpful, I will bring him over (not today of
course).
Regards,
Prajjwal
