Yearbook/5th Grade Reminders; K Orientation; Staff Week is Coming!

Hello OES Families,

1) Reminder: Yearbook Orders are due THIS Friday, 4/20/12...Email Lori
Clarke if you need info (clar...@verizon.net).

2) FIFTH GRADE PARENTS: Pictures for the Memories photo montage are
due THIS Friday, 4/20/12. Pictures recv'd after this week will not be
in the montage. Please only send Kindergarten school portrait, 5th
grade school portrait, and group pics taken during school events
(field trips, dances, bus stop, etc). Do not send individual pics of
your child except for K & 5th portraits, please. Email pics to
adiu...@comcast.net or send hard copies to school with your child for
them to put in their classroom's 5th Grade Memories Inbox. *Please
label all pics with name, grade in pic, and current 5th grade
teacher.*

3) Kindergarten Orientation is set for M/T May 14th & 15th. We need
volunteers in two hour shifts both days, 5-6 people per shift. Also,
donations of small waters, small juice boxes, teddy grahams, and fruit
snacks are appreciated (to be given to new, visiting children). Please

4) Staff Appreciation Week is coming soon!! (APRIL 30th - MAY 4th)
This is a big, week-long event and we need your help to make this
successful. Please help your child thank their teacher by
participating and sending in small tokens. Here is the line-up:
Much Thanks Monday - Students can send in cards/thank you notes to
their teachers
Tuesday Treats - Full Size Desert and/or Fruit donations for the staff
from OES Families will be set up in the Staff Lounge before lunch time
We Need Supplies Wednesday - Children can bring in supplies to their
teachers...anything is appreciated!
Thursday Deliveries - Students can send in peanut-free treats for the
teachers/bus drivers
TGIF Breakfast - Catered Breakfast from Panera Bread...no donations
necessary
