Staff Appreciation Week, Tues PTA Meeting & Congrats to Dr Fuller!

Good evening OES Families,

1) Please remember that tomorrow kicks off Staff Appreciation Week!
This is a big, week-long event and we need your help to make this
successful. Please help your child thank their teacher by
participating and sending in small tokens. Here is the line-up: Much
Thanks Monday - Students can send in cards/Thank You notes to their
teachers; Tuesday Treats - Full Size Desert and/or Fruit donations for
the staff from OES Families will be set up in the Staff Lounge before
lunch time; We Need Supplies Wednesday - Children can bring in
supplies to their teachers...anything is appreciated!; Thursday
Deliveries - Students can send in peanut-free treats for the teachers/
bus drivers; TGIF Breakfast - Catered Breakfast from Panera Bread...no
donations necessary. Please contact Andrea Rudolph

2) Our last PTA Meeting of the year will be on Tuesday night at 7pm.
We will have Katie Hecklinger speaking about Curriculum 2.0 at 7:15pm
and then Dr. Redmond Jones, Rosa Parks Principal, will speak at
7:40pm. Dr. Redmond Jones' presentation is strongly recommended for
5th grade parents. Childcare will be provided for OES students.

3) Last but not least, we wish a BIG congratulations to Dr. Fuller,
who has accepted a position as Principal Intern at Galway ES next
year. This is the next step in her journey toward becoming a MCPS
principal. Congrats!!
