It looks like just a beginning, fortunately... I don't think he's even
as far along as the analysis was for Okopipi.
First, he's only looking into a faster-responding spam filter --
nothing in his proposed system thus far does anything about stopping
the spammers in the first place.

Size wasn't a real problem with the BlueFrog registry file.
The issue was that spammers can directly attack users whose emails are
in the registry.

The Bloom filter doesn't address the problem, either. If it works as
a registry (and spammers can clean their lists using the registry)
then they can always just compare their lists pre- and post- cleaning

Ok the okopipi project has been dead for some time. I see that a few
people are still posting to and checking this mailing list, so I
figured I would let you know of this project. Awhile ago I started a
new project called Spamlain because most the people who owned parts in
okopipi are gone, such as the domain name and the admin to this

Included: FsckChickenboners! (a bot for crapflooding spammers' forms) 1.5.1
The (probably) better ones, KS FormFiller Refi and KS FormFiller HGH, aren't
able to be downloaded right now.
Just rename the file to .zip instead of .zip.removeme. I did this because
GMail doesn't allow sending of exectuables.
