Description:

Omaha’s largest media source is looking for a highly motivated
professional to succeed in our Information Technology Department. The
Internet Software Developer will build and support a variety of web
applications that are used to support the sales, production and
delivery of the newspaper in both online and print editions. The ideal
candidate will have a minimum of three years experience analyzing,
designing, developing, testing, documenting and delivering software
using PHP, Java, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, CGI, and web services.
Experience in a newspaper environment a plus! A Bachelor of Science
degree in computer science or related field. Extensive experience may
be considered in lieu of this requirement. Ideal candidate will have
excellent customer service skills, proven ability to trouble-shoot
issues, a record of meeting deadlines, be self-motivated, detail-
oriented and have the ability to quickly learn and code various
applications.
