new guy searching two relitives

to Ohio in the Civil War

New here hoping to gain more info on my great x3 grandfather Ferdinand
Sherman he served with the 45th OVI india co. I have two documents
pertaining to him. I have pictures if interested.

I know much less of his brother Jake (jacob?) Sherman. I have a letter
written by him sent sent to his brother ferninand. I will scan that. I
deciphered that letter and there is a lot of names and reference
points for future research.

I know it has been a long time since you posted on this account, but I just found your posting. I am related to John Sherman who was the brother of Ferdinand and Jacob. I was wondering if you would like to exchange info.
