Found following reference book listed on the 11th OVI
A History of the 11th Regiment (Ohio Volunteer Infantry). Containing
the military record, so far as possible to obtain it, of each officer
and enlisted man of the command, a list of deaths, an account of the
veterans, incidents of the field and camp, names of the three months'

Does anyone have this ref? My ancestor Sergt Simeon Shidler or
Shideler b abt 1829 Miaimi Co Ohio was original member of Co E 11th
Rgt OVI, died 6 Dec 1863 according to on line sources. Buried at
Chattanooga Nat'l Cemetery. Have ordered NARA compiled record. Was
wondering if there were any references to Simeon in the above History
Reference book.
