Hi Judy--I'm super sorry to hear that--- this shows that those who come in to do "pranks" are there to be destructive--not to change things around "just for fun".(re: being told that my great grandfather's CW flagholder was put there as a prank).. --- I'm so glad all scrap dealers were notified--that will definitely make it tough for whomever took them for "scrap" to get rid of them and make money off of their thievery...  Hope they catch the crooks and toss them in the garbage heap where they belong..

There are a bunch of WWII vets in one section of the cemetery. One is
my late husband's uncle and and another was a friend of ours. They
would have been easy to get because they are near the back lane of the
cemetery. The older Civil War graves are on higher ground mostly. I
have problems finding my great grandfather's grave at times.
I just realized I have great-great grandparents buried there. None of
them were in the service but that's not the point.
