Dear Friends,

I would like to introduce my new web-site. http://ourgrampascivilwar.wordpress.com

For the most part it’s intended to honor the 175^th and 183^rd Ohio Regiments. The site currently contains their histories, told in a time and place sensitive format that is fun to read (175^th is still being written).

In addition there are two photo galleries of Franklin, Tennessee Civil War landmarks and the Nashville National Cemetery. The site also tells how these two regiments found their place in history and offers an up-to-date, extensive Roll of Honor for each.

My last posting talks of the many other Ohio infantry regiments that were in middle-Tennessee in 1864-65. There were twenty-three of them, along with five Ohio artillery regiments at the historic events that took place there. Your contributions to these stories will be welcomed and honored as best I can.
