My New Civil War book

Just wanted to alert members to my new Civil War book, entitled Major General Alexander M. McCook, USA, A Civil War Biography, published by McFarland and Company.  It was released on November 26th, and can be ordered by contacting the publisher at www.mcfarlandpub.com. 

 

General McCook formed the 1st Ohio Infantry regiment and led it in the first Battle of Bull Run.  McCook went on to become a division and then a corps commander and led his troops in the Shiloh, Perryville, Stones River and Chickamauga campaigns.
