Saw cabbage white, monarchs and common buckeyes at
Headlands today. Think it was a banner year for buckeyes.

I agree with you on the Buckeyes. Last year was great for them in the northeast and this year has been great too. I also saw a large number of meadow frits and American coppers this year. Today I was still seeing orange sulphurs. I could hardly believe my eyes after all the hard frosts we've had near Morgan Swamp. I'm going to stick my neck out and say it's been a banner year for woolly bear cats too.
