I have been involved in many fightbacks against this system.    I have seen thoroughly discouraged people win major concession when they organize.   When we are quiet and follow orders they like that.

Then how did people on ODSP get into this situation? 

I find it odd that so many of us are up in arms now. The Social Assistance Review started years ago. Where was all of this outrage last year, or in 2011? The government indicated the direction reform would take a long time ago. It would appear many of us have been living in denial for a very long time.
